The RightClick+ items don't appear when I right-click

Open RightClick+ once, then turn on the extension: System Settings → General → Login Items & Extensions → Added Extensions → RightClick+ Extension. If it's already on, turn it off and on again, then relaunch Finder (hold Option, right-click Finder in the Dock, choose Relaunch).

The menu is missing in Desktop, Documents or iCloud Drive

Finder hides other apps' right-click items in iCloud Drive folders, including Desktop and Documents when they sync with iCloud. Add the RightClick+ button to the Finder toolbar (View → Customize Toolbar…) and use it there.

I also have NewFile, or another app that adds Finder menus

When two of these apps claim the same folders, Finder shows only one of them. Turn the other app's extension off in Login Items & Extensions.

Word, Excel or Pages items are missing from New

An item appears only when an app that opens it is installed. To show them anyway, open RightClick+ → New and turn on "Show types even without an app to open them".

An editor or terminal is missing from Open with

Only installed apps appear. To add one RightClick+ doesn't know, open RightClick+ → Open with → Add App…

I right-clicked and nothing happened, just a beep

RightClick+ beeps when it can't do what you asked. Usually the folder is one you can't write to, such as Applications, or a locked or read-only disk. Try a folder in your home folder.

How do I uninstall it?

Open RightClick+ and choose RightClick+ → Uninstall RightClick+…, or turn the extension off and drag the app to the Trash. With Homebrew: brew uninstall --zap rightclickplus.
